Rachel is a native of West Virginia and 
resides in Morgantown with her husband and twin boys, Sam and Bob.  She attended a 2 year school studying fashion, interior design and modeling.  She then transitioned to a 4 year university to get her bachelors of arts degree in interior design at the Carleton Varney School of Art and Design at the University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia.

While in school she worked at the local art and framing store as well as played piano for school functions.  After graduation Rachel began working at Contemporary Galleries, Inc. in Charleston, West Virginia.  http://www.cgwv.com/

Rachel's last design project was with the team who renovated the West Virginia State Museum at the Culture Center in Charleston, WV at the Capitol Complex.

She began teaching at Pierpont Community & Technical College in the fall of 2010 in the School of Human Resources Applied Design Program.  Rachel is presently the Interior Design Program Coordinator with the school and the faculty advisor for the student chapter ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) organization that includes Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College students.  She will be pursuing her masters degree at Fairmont State University in education.
