When I was a kid, I was the kid that was really ornrey and always seeming to find something creative to do. I used to draw on walls, my own body, and sometimes the cats. I even made doll clothes for my little sister. When I got to high school I started to make Christmas gifts by using my artistic talent. Eventually I started to make dolls and other crafts with the help of an old sewing machine. I even started to make some of my own clothes by the help of Youtube and Joann's. Thats when I knew I was going to be in Fashion. Since then I havent stopped.

I have always been interested in different things. By different things I mean the obscure. When I create or design, you can always tell that they are a bit different. I am also very inspired by the victorian and edwardian eras. They are extremely elegant and gie me so many new ideas. I derive alot of idea from the world around me and dreams I may have. I try to keep my sketchbook close to my bed everynight just in case an idea might pop out in a nightmare or dream. You never know when inspiration stikes, but when it does.....its best to use it.

I like to think I am talented in my field even though I am still learning constantly. In Fashion there is always so much to learn. The Fashion Industry is a very cut throat one. It is very fast pace, and if you can't keep up, you're out. When I first went into being a Fashion Major in college, I though I could go to New York and work my way up the ladder and somehow get on Projcet Runway. Although the experiance would be amazing, I now know that I want to own my own humble business. I would love to own my own shoppe and sell my creations from it. I also have a deep love for antiques, and I hope to sell them as well.

It took me years to understand that my passion is creating and designing. I hope to make my passion my work. As of now I am a simple part time Sales Associate, a soon to be graduate of the Fashion Design program at Pierpont Community and Technical College, and Vice President of the Fashion Design Club. In a few years I hope to be a pround small business owner. With the passion I have for my career and fashion I believe I can achieve it.
