I have been interested in costuming for quite sometime and in November, 2012 was able to codesign the costumes for Fairmont State University's production of Our Town. Costuming requires a design process similar to fashion design starting with research. The following pictures show some digital examples of research used for the show. I also drew sketches of possible ideas for the different characters we worked with. Most of the costumes came from the School of Fine Arts storage area, but we had to do many alterations both to have them fit as well as to change the complete apperance of the garment. The dress shown below was one that I designed and constructed for the show specifically for a character that mentioned this certain style of dress.

I had a wonderful time codesigning this show and hope to be able to do it again soon. I have found a wonderful family in the Theatre Department and am very thankful for them.
