I decided that I wanted to be in fashion when I was a sophomore in high school. A representative from the Art Institute in Pittsburgh visited my art class and talked about Fashion Marketing. I looked into it and colleges only offered Fashion Merchandising or Fashion Design. I started my collegiate career at West Virginia University but then transferred to Fairmont State University. Now, I have my Bachelors in Family Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Fashion Merchandising. I also have my Associates degree in Applied Design.
